Multiverse & real life

First time that I heard the word 'multiverse', was in the context of Marvel's Cinematic Universe. At any point in time, there is more than one 'reality', each of which can have versions of yourself.

A tangential shower thought about real life and multiverse.

Let's take a specific reality and for the ease of conversation, call it as the present, current timeline that we are all living in. Here, each person lives in their own universe which is constantly changing because of various factors, both internal and external to the individual.

That individual universe is made of specific beliefs, thoughts, practices, behaviors, ethics, constraints, lifestyle. How well two persons gel together depends on how good their universes behave when they collide with each other, and how well do the two individuals manage such coherence or lack of from such temporary merges. Do the contents of those two universes oppose each other or can they co-exist with or without friction between them?

For the sake of living in a society, we put our 'own' universe behind a facade of varying depth that consists of behaviors that the society that we live in deem as acceptable. A truth to one, may or may not be truth to someone else. A deep interest to some might or might not mean anything to others.

We live in this is society which is a multiverse that is made of these 'individual' universes and are constantly doing crossovers between various universes.
