Snow

showering like thousands of feathers
disappearing at the first touch of hand
showering like wonderful dreams
that disappear at the first wake from sleep

it lands on my cheeks
like kiss in a bower
it drops down melting
tears of parting lover!

holding to the dry tree branches
blooming white flowers
sprouting white leaves
one touch of sun to melt into oblivion

there goes a couple under an umbrella
and here is an oldman treading slow on snow
and here I sit near window
watching the falling snow

the volatile snow showering beauty
and impermanence of life
stays bright for as long as it lasts
ends mushy on the road. No one cares!
