Silently you came into my path
unwelcomed though not unwanted!
I never heard your footsteps approaching,
I never felt you joining me!
You Filled my paths with colorful blooms
and my nights with vibrant dreams!
Dreams of future! Dreams of peace!
but I still couldn’t see you in them!
Only in presence could I feel you,
never saw who you were.
Together we walked (at least I thought so!),
into that unknown path of my life!
Silently you left me there
as the path led into the wilderness of loneliness.
I never felt that I was alone on my path,
I didn't know that you left.
There were your thoughts with me
in every breath I took!
I still felt that we were in the journey,
I never heard you leaving!
Maybe you took another path,
in the pursuit of your success, happiness!
Maybe you moved ahead!
But I never heard you leaving!
Neither did I hear you say ‘Goodbye’
And now when I turn back and look
All I see along are my footprints,
yours have stopped at some unknown turn!
I continue to walk on my path,
my life - alone, towards some unknown Destiny!
So, I bid farewell to you, from my thoughts
from my dreams and from every breath that I take!
Farewell my love, farewell my dear!
Wishing you all the joy in this world,
I continue on my journey hoping our paths never meet!
