About leaving Kashi
As the hour of leaving Kashi draws near,
I feel heavy with
So many memories
Too many emotions!
From physical world
And the metaphysical realm.
As I drive through these streets,
Tears fill my eyes,
A heart's string gets pulled
An unheard call beckons
Drawing me closer to this city of Light,
The farther I move away from it.
Will I ever return to this place?
Yes! I pray for it.
There are rnas to be paid,
Closures to be had and
Loose ends to tie up.
And Ego to destroy!
Humbly I pray to Lord Viswanath
To consider bringing me back to Him
In this Life or another!
To Kashi, Abode of the Parents of this Universe
To Kashi, the Eternal Beacon!
