When we get attached to someone or something, it is hard to let go of that person or thing, but nature helps us do that. We let go off mother's milk, let go off father's protection, let go off parents support, let go off people that we love and all this happens in a logical progression. We let go off our home in pursuit of our dreams only to later realize that going home has become a dream. While these 'letting go's' do inflict some pain at some level, I have seen today where a company let go off some people. 'Not the first time, not going to be the last..' said someone. While this was not definitely the first time I saw this happening, there was no rhyme/reason in this present case, not that someone at my level can understand.
That said, I am proud to have been associated with people who behaved in a extremely professional manner even when they were let go, all of a sudden, No mails, sessions or reasons will answer the question that is in their minds as well as mine - "Why?"! Here I drop few of my tears, bow my head and pray that they find peace, solace and quick support during these testing times! Here I tip my hat to them who have shown what real people are made of!
